In Mykolaiv opened the International photo exhibition dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China

January 15 was a landmark date for the National University of Shipbuilding named after Admiral Makarov in the field of development of Ukrainian-Chinese relations. This day was marked by the opening of the International Photo Exhibition at the NUS dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Odessa Sun Litsun arrived at the opening ceremony. “In recent years, Sino-Ukrainian relations and business cooperation have been developing very dynamically. We have a strong interest in Chinese language and culture. Many young people are now interested in China and want to get acquainted with the achievements and development of our country. Therefore, in order to help our Ukrainian friends better understand China, we are organizing such a photo exhibition today, ”said Mr. Song Litsun. The Consul assures that the National University of Shipbuilding has been chosen as the venue: close years of cooperation and friendly relations with China and many Chinese universities. “China is now an example of a country that is developing at an incredible pace. This is a kind of phenomenon that interests all states and peoples. And today Mr. Sun Litsun’s visit and the opening of the exhibition is a kind of example of cooperation between Ukraine and China, Mykolayiv and China, NUS and China, ”- said rector of NUS Eugeniy Trushliakov. Through  vivid photographs, the exhibition shows a picture of the common struggles of the Chinese population to create a better life and achieve great success. This is to enable the peoples of other countries of the world to learn more about China’s past, present and future. This unique exhibition has attracted interest not only from students, faculty and staff of NUS, but also from city and regional authorities. So, at the opening of the event the mayor of Mykolayiv Alexander Senkevich, the deputy chairman of the Mykolayiv regional council Andrey Krotov and the People’s Deputy of Ukraine of VIII convocation Taras Kremin visited. Thus, Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding has been developing cooperation with China for more than 20 years, has many Chinese partners and is ranked number one in Ukraine by the number of students from China. And with this exhibition NUS started a series of joint projects this year.
