In Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding hosted the 10th International Scientific and Technical Conference “Innovations in Shipbuilding and Ocean Engineering”

On September 26, Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding hosted the opening of the 10th International Conference on Innovation in Shipbuilding and Ocean Engineering. In addition to being a jubilee conference, this year it has a number of features that make it unique in a variety of ways. One of the most important is the large number of delegations of scientists from many countries of the world. “This time around 30 participants from such countries as China, Georgia, Germany, France, Estonia, Latvia, Azerbaijan, China came to us. And of course, there are a lot of representatives from different corners of our country, ” said rector of NUS Eugeniy Trushliakov. The most powerful delegation came from the People’s Republic of China. Deputy Director of Jiangsu Shipbuilding Institute, University of Science and Technology, Tsui Jie, said: “Today, not only teachers, many students have come from our delegation. This is a very good opportunity to gain new knowledge and experience. We also look forward to working with your university. This is one of the goals of our visit. ” It is interesting that the conference was attended not only by students and scientists, but also by representatives of many companies whose business is related to maritime affairs. According to tradition, at the grand opening of the event, scientists are rewarded for their fruitful scientific work. This year, many teachers and students of NUS have received thanks from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. In addition, a patent for the invention was granted, which was a joint Ukrainian-Chinese project. The first deputy mayor Volodymyr Kyrylenko also visited the university, who presented honorary certificates of the mayor on the occasion of the city day. The schedule of work is extremely fruitful after the opening of the conference. The event will last for three days – plenary sessions, section work and 2 roundtables, where scientists will contribute to solving the most pressing issues. Thus, this conference raised important problems of shipbuilding, ocean engineering, marine complex and transport logistics. It also helped young scientists and students to see the future of their future profession and creativity. And of course, Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding once again supported the glory of Mykolayiv as a city of ships!
