Important meeting was held between representatives of the Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding and Chinese partners from Jiangsu Ocean University

 On December 2, 2024, an important meeting was held between representatives of the Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding and Chinese partners from Jiangsu Ocean University (JOU).

The meeting was attended by the following representatives of JOU:

– Tang Jian, President, prof;

– Shen Xin, Vice President for Research and International Relations, Professor;

– Zhang Yuanliang, Vice President for Graduate Studies, Professor;

– Xu Lan, Dean of the Makarov Maritime Engineering College, Associate Professor;

– Zhang Fengkang, Head of the Party Administration of the Makarov Maritime Engineering College, Associate Professor;

– Miao Quanming, Dean of the Faculty of Marine Engineering, Professor;

– Han Xiaojie, Director of the Office of International Relations, Associate Professor.

The main topics of the meeting were:

– Updating the composition of the Joint Management Committee;

– Results of cooperation in the academic year 2023/2024;

– Results of the admission campaign for joint programs in 2024;

– Strategy for improving the quality of teaching in joint programs;

– Opportunities to expand joint study programs.

This was the first meeting for the new JOU President, Tang Jian, which was held in the format of the Joint Management Committee.
