Scholarship Estophilus might be given to students from foreign countries, that are undergraduates in their last years of study, students at magistracy course, postgraduates and doctoral candidates from universities abroad within the period being in Estonia for researching or selecting material about this country during 1-5 months. The knowledge of Estonian language will be an advantage, but it is not the obligatory requirement. The scholarship covers housing expenditure of 500 euros per month and pays for travel expenses. The programme has two deadlines: the 2nd of March and the 1st of October. The required documents: – filled in an application form; – outline of the study; – CV; – a document that confirms a student is in their last year studying for a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, postgraduate degree or acknowledgement of science degree. – confirmation of accepting a candidate by an Estonian curator and affirmation of his readiness to control a candidate. An Estonian curator has to give a brief description of a research topic and justify the importance of this research for Estonia. An application for receiving of the scholarship along with all the necessary adds-on have to be submitted in electronic format in Estonian or English.
